2016 Corporate Social Responsibility Report

EPRI completed a full corporate social responsibility assessment in 2015 culminating in release of its first Corporate Social Responsibility report. The report (and companion video) provides a comprehensive look at EPRI's social responsibility culture and actions around four focus areas: community, employees, operations, and research.

Power Delivery and Utilization - Distribution and Utilization

Power Delivery & Utilization’s Distribution Utilization group focuses on research and technology to improve the delivery and utilization of electricity from the substation to the end user. Areas of research include smart grid, electric transportation, distribution, cyber security, and energy utilization.

Address reliability by providing guidance to utilities on implementing grid modernization and integration, managing assets, reducing O&M costs, and improving overall system performance.

Energy Utilization

Advance customer energy productivity through assessment, testing, and demonstration of emerging demand-side technologies, analytical methods, and behavioral phenomena.

Information, Communication, and Cyber Security

Enable an integrated grid by applying information and communication technologies while addressing existing and emerging threats to an interconnected electric system through technology processes and standards.
